Our lighting kit is designed to provide reliable and discreet illumination for your safe, without the need for ambient lighting (using the sun's setting for safes).

We have recently upgraded the 3M adhesive on the LED strip itself, making it compatible with non-carpet safes. While the lighting kit may require some slight adjustment work on certain safes to ensure it's securely installed, we're confident that our American-made craftsmanship will provide the best possible solution.

Please note that unless you share our passion for firearms, it may take a few minutes to properly install the kit. We recommend using a hot glue gun to ensure a strong adhesion to your specific safe. Once installed, be sure to measure the center to achieve maximum light coverage, and place the PIR motion sensor as shown in the pictures provided by our satisfied customers.

For optimal motion sensor performance, you may need to slightly build up one side of the sensor to face the safe door. Some safes may require a bit of good old-fashioned American fabrication to reach peak performance. Remember to adjust the sensor for the best results.

The installation process is straightforward and should only take a few minutes. However, some safes may require a small amount of super glue for optimal adhesion. We decided to put together this affordable kit after purchasing all the necessary parts from Amazon, which cost us $29 but still fell short with only a 3-foot LED light.

Please check the light for proper function upon receiving it, before installation. If you happen to break the LED while bending it around corners, don't worry – just contact us through Amazon, and we'll ship a replacement as soon as possible. We've sourced the best LEDs we could find, but they can still be delicate when manipulated.

Remember to unplug the light and plug it back in after switching the setting from sun to moon to ensure proper operation. Our 12-foot LED strip provides a bright, 6500K white/blue light, offering affordable and cool safe lighting. The adjustable timer dial allows you to customize the lighting to your preferences.

We thoroughly test each light in our living room and set them up for optimal gun safe lighting, with the setting always on the sun setting. The discreet bluish light ensures your safe is illuminated without drawing unwanted attention, even in the event of an intruder. Please understand that the kit runs on batteries, not a nuclear reactor, so it may not be as bright as "Jesus sunlight." If you're looking for that level of illumination, this kit may not be for you.

Remember to check the battery orientation, as a reverse installation will result in very dim lighting. We personally inspect every single light, testing the motion and lighting functionality, before shipping them out for your convenience.
